We want to meet immediate needs of children, youth and families experiencing family disruption and brokenness by embracing them right where they are. Roots of Home will be staffed with licensed foster care parents to provide stable family environments for children, especially youth in foster care. We will also provide a transitional program with housing for youth aging out of the system. We will also embrace the foster families and biological families in their journey to become the parents God created them to be through our resource centers.
Planting seeds of hope, means not only giving the gift of family but teaching the Good News of Jesus because He is the only solid foundation. Roots of Home will work to equip youth with necessary life skills to ensure they not only survive adulthood, but they can thrive. Roots of Home will work to equip current and new foster families by providing on-going training and encouragement. And also equipping the Church to learn new ways to wrap around foster and biological families.
We desire to empower these foster children and youth to dream for their future by giving them the gift of family and the tools they need to believe they can become anything. We also want to empower foster families in their vital role of healing broken families and creating new ones. And last but certainly not least, we want to empower the biological parents to strive for reunification by giving them the tools and encouragement to be the parents we know they can be.
